It was treat to unexpectedly meet artists on this trip. This happened on our last day at the Catholic retreat center. A garage door was open and there inside, were several men working on stained glass wndows. We almost missed seeing this.
The priest (at right), in charge of the retreat center, was the artisan teaching the younger fellows the craft.
Taking on stained glass window commissions was a way to sustain the center. It was great seeing art happening in the grounds.
